this vets have been amazing. Sadly our 2 cats Doodle and Rama were put to their final sleep today, and the staff were so respectful, kind and human. Especially Amelia, who led my year old son away after it got too much for him and they cried together outside while our second cat was put to sleep. At this horrific time, they have shown us the exact emotion and care we needed. Can't praise them enough.
I have used their services for my first Cavalier and was overall happy but felt that they were not that friendly and keen to prescribe more medication when it was that difficult time. However more recently have taken many hounds in for medical treatment, on behalf of the Greyhound Trust, and with very few exceptions they treated the hounds well and nursing staff were excellent. Often had to wait quite a while to get them booked in but other than that 5./5
DO NOT TRUST THEMI rushed my dog to them on a Monday evening, she was clearly in distress and was kept waiting for almost 15 minutes even though we were the only clients there. I emphasised the fact I was worried about a swelling in her neck, all the vet said was ...could she have been stung by a bee or wasp? NO was my answerShe then gave her 2 injections one a pain killer, one an antihistamine as she thought it was more likely an allergic reaction, and sent us home.The next morning I rushed her to my usual vet, after a quick examination they sent me straight to Fitzpatrick referrals where she underwent life saving emergency spinal operation, she had damaged discs in her neck!!Thankfully the operation went well and she is now facing a lengthy recovery.
I wouldn't trust any other practice with the care of my pets. We have been going here for many years, there have been great outcomes and sad ones but I always know that.my pets are getting the best care possible. I would, and have recommended this veterinary practice to friends who now rely on the great services provided.
amazing vets my 4 dogs love it here the staff are so friendly and you can call during the night if they have to stay over so caring and customer service from vets and all staff is outstanding .
